1. The Grant
At LINKBIT, we believe that every charity in Northern Ireland deserves a powerful and professional digital presence. The Digital Voice for Change Grant was created to remove the technological and financial barriers that hold remarkable organisations back. This is an in-kind service grant, not a cash award. We are providing four selected charities with the expert digital tools and ongoing support they need to amplify their impact, build trust, and secure more support for their cause.
2. Grant Package
As a recipient of this grant, your organisation will receive a complete digital foundation, managed by our experts for 12 months. This package, valued at £2,500, includes:

A Fully Managed Professional Website: A custom-designed, mobile-responsive website (up to 7 pages) with essential features like Services, contact details and an online form. We handle all hosting, security updates, and technical maintenance for one full year.

Microsoft 365 Suite: Access to essential productivity tools for your team, including professional email via Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, collaborative workspaces in Teams, and secure cloud storage with OneDrive.

Professional Business Email Addresses: Credible email accounts using your own domain name (e.g., yourname@yourcharity.org.uk).
Professional Website
A fully optimised charity website – includes mobile-friendly design, brand-aligned visuals, and ongoing support. Launch with confidence and stand out online.
Business Email
A professional @YourCharity.org email (valid 1 year) – secure, ad-free, and easy to manage. Build trust with supporters and partners.
Microsoft Tools
Microsoft 365 for 1 year (Word, Excel, SharePoint & 1TB OneDrive). Streamline operations, collaborate securely, and manage data efficiently.

3. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an organization must meet all of the following criteria:

Legal Status: Must be a registered charity, non-profit organization, or community interest company (CIC) in good standing, operating primarily within Northern Ireland.

Mission Alignment: Must demonstrate a clear social, environmental, or community-based mission that benefits people in Northern Ireland.

Digital Engagement: Must follow LINKBIT on at least one social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn) at the time of application.

Operational Capacity: Must have at least one designated staff member or volunteer (the "Project Lead") who is authorized to make decisions, provide content (text, images), and provide feedback in a timely manner throughout the project timeline.

Digital Need: Must lack a professional website or have a significantly outdated website that hinders their mission.

Willingness to Collaborate: Must agree to participate in a short case study and provide a testimonial upon project completion, which may be used in LINKBIT's marketing materials.
4. How to Apply
Applying for the grant is a simple and straightforward process.

The Collaboration Conversation: If shortlisted, we will invite you to a 20-minute video call. This is a chance for us to learn more about your mission and ensure we are a great fit for a successful partnership.

Grant Award & Launch: Four winning organisations will be selected and notified. We will then begin the exciting work of building and launching your new digital presence!

5. FAQ
Q: Is this grant really free? What is the catch?
A: Yes, the grant is completely free. There is no cash exchange. The grant is an in-kind donation of our services. We only ask for your collaboration during the project and your permission to share the results as a case study to inspire others.
Q: What does "fully managed" for 12 months include?
A: It means we take care of all the technical aspects for a year: website hosting, security monitoring, software updates, and basic troubleshooting. This gives you a professional, worry-free online presence so you can focus entirely on your mission.
Q: We already have a website. Can we still apply?
A: Absolutely. We specialise in redesigning and upgrading outdated sites. If selected, we will build you a new, modern website and can migrate your most important content.
Q: What happens after the 12-month management period ends?
A: Near the end of the year, we will provide you with a simple and affordable plan to continue the managed service should you wish to. There is no obligation, and you can choose to self-manage the site at that time.
