1. Company Information
LINKBIT LTD is a company registered in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom (Company No. NI728345). We provide digital design and technology services to charities, non-profits, and businesses across the United Kingdom. All communication regarding these Terms should be directed to support@linkbit.co.uk or www.linkbit.co.uk.
2. Scope of Services
LINKBIT provides professional digital solutions, including but not limited to website design and redesign, business email setup and Microsoft 365 support, SEO optimisation, content support, graphic design, and ongoing website management. LINKBIT manages and maintains client websites directly through its own administrative accounts. Clients retain limited access but not full transfer rights unless a separate buyout agreement is made.
3. Service Agreements
A formal agreement or written confirmation is required before the commencement of any project.
Each project will include a service outline, pricing, payment structure, and estimated completion timeline.
LINKBIT reserves the right to decline or discontinue any project deemed inappropriate, unlawful, or inconsistent with company standards.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for services can be made via bank transfer or through our online payment portal. Charities and non-profit clients may be eligible for payment instalments with no added interest or fees. All payments must be made in GBP. INKBIT LTD is not VAT registered; therefore, VAT is not applicable.
5. Deposits and Project Start
Projects commence only after a deposit has been received. The remaining balance is payable as per the agreed schedule or upon completion, whichever occurs first.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Refunds will be processed based on the project completion stage: Up to 25% completion - 30% non-refundable; 26-50% - 50%
non-refundable; 51-75% - 70% non-refundable; 76% and above - 100% non-refundable.
Projects cancelled due to client inactivity or lack of communication for 30 consecutive days may be terminated without refund.
7. Late Payments
Invoices are due within 14 days. Failure to pay may result in suspension of services and a 2% monthly interest charge on overdue amounts until paid.
8. Renewal and Term Duration
Subscription periods are available for 1, 2, or 3 years. Clients are notified at least 30 days before renewal and must confirm in writing before renewal proceeds.
9. Ownership and Intellectual Property
All website designs, content, and assets developed by LINKBIT remain LINKBIT’s property unless otherwise stated in writing. Clients receive a managed licence to use the website during the subscription period. Full ownership can be transferred upon payment of a separate buyout fee.
Licensed assets remain bound by their respective licence terms.
10. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate information, supply content promptly, review deliverables in time, and maintain confidentiality of their Project ID and credentials.
Failure to respond within 30 days may result in suspension or termination without refund.
11. Data Protection and Confidentiality
All data shared with LINKBIT is handled confidentially and per our Privacy Policy. LINKBIT maintains control of Microsoft 365 credentials for managed accounts. Clients must protect login details and report breaches immediately.
12. Third-Party Services
Our services rely on third-party platforms. LINKBIT is not responsible for service interruptions, pricing changes, or limitations caused by third-party systems. We act as a management and facilitation provider only.
13. Performance and Limitations
LINKBIT provides services on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as traffic increases or donations but ensure professional standards and quality service.
14. Termination by LINKBIT
LINKBIT may suspend or terminate services if payments are overdue beyond 30 days, if clients breach these Terms, or if they use services unlawfully. LINKBIT may retain project materials until outstanding payments are cleared.
15. Indemnity and Liability
LINKBIT LTD holds professional indemnity insurance. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, third-party downtime, or data breaches caused by client negligence.
16. Amendments to These Terms
LINKBIT may revise these Terms periodically to reflect operational or legal changes. Updates will be published on our website, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Northern Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
18. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, requesting a quote, or engaging LINKBIT for services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
